The Inkey List Mandelic Acid Treatment 15ml
For use in your PM skincare routine.
- After cleansing and hydrating with Hyaluronic Acid, gently pat a thin layer of Mandelic Acid Treatment into affected areas.
- Follow with preferred serums and moisturizer.
- We advise always using SPF as the last step in your AM skincare routine as Mandelic Acid Treatment can increase sun sensitivity.
Can be used alongside other AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid or Apple Cider Vinegar), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid, C-50 Blemish Treatment), Vitamin C and other Retinol products. As it is a targeted treatment, avoid using those ingredients on the same area. Just be aware that this formula contains Retinol, so you may need to dial down your current Retinol usage if you are using or allow time to build up a tolerance for the extra level of Retinol that is in Mandelic Acid Treament.
Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight. Avoid direct contact with eyes. External use only. Keep out of reach of children.
- 10% Mandelic Acid: an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds with a large molecule size making it suitable for sensitive skin with proven melanin inhibiting benefits to help reduce dark spots, hyperpigmentation & post acne marks.
- 0.1% Retinol: helps to increase natural cell turnover to fade dark spots, hyperpigmentation and discoloration
- Glycerin: deeply hydrates skin and draws in moisture

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANDELIC ACID AND TRANEXAMIC ACID? The way these ingredients work is very different, Mandelic Acid is an exfoliating acid so works by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells, thus helping with cell turnover. Tranexamic Acid works directly with the pathway which inhibits melanin. You can use both products for UV induced damage and post inflammatory masks. However, since Mandelic Acid is a targeted treatment it may best to opt for this on smaller, more targeted areas of concern.
